- Here's the commercial
I've had an amazing couple of days down here in Southern California.
I got two pieces of great news as I was driving into town: I found out that I got a set at the Chocolate Sundaes show at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, and I was cast in a commercial for Intel.
I actually got to do two sets at the Laugh Factory which was so much fun. Always a great show with fantastic crowds. Go see Chocolate Sundaes, you won't be disappointed.
Then on Monday we taped the commercial. I got to play a bitchy wife - I know, what a stretch! Pretty sure I nailed it :) It should be online soon, I'll post the link as soon as I have it.
Back to NorCal today - but I'll be back down here next month for a show at the Comedy Store. ...
Sad news about Sammy's owner:
I only knew Steve for a short time, but he was very kind, great to work with, and was a big fan of comedy. We will miss him.
Just finished a show for the military men and women at the Presidio in Monterey. So much fun. It's always an honor to do a show for the military and they have been some of my favorite audiences. I met some people here who had been stationed in Okinawa - they weren't there for my shows - but they had seen some of my comedy friends who had also traveled to Japan. It was nice to hear that they enjoyed getting comedy while over there.
Monterey is one of my favorite places in California. We've taken a lot of family trips here, but this is the first time here on my own.
It's a beautiful day - so I'm off to do a little exploring.
This is late (but not least??) - The Real Housewives of Rio Linda had so much fun at our show in Roseville. We were blown away by the fantastic turnout - 300 people - and all the great support from the community.
We had a great time and it seems that the audience did as well.
On a sad note, Sammy's Rockin Island Bar & Grill closed just after our show and the owner, Steve Pease, is missing:
We hope for his safe return.
Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill is right across the street from the Roseville Theater - where the Real Housewives of Rio Linda will be having our big show - and they're offering this fantastic dinner deal for our fans:
All the Housewives will be at Sammy's to party with you. We're so looking forward to this show - please order your tickets now so you don't miss out.
